About NanoReash

A Different Philosophy

Enterprise software should become more accessible — not more expensive.

From its inception, NanoReash has been designed as a Web Operating System that provides organisations with a secure, scalable and efficient foundation for managing their digital presence. While technology continually evolves, our guiding philosophy has remained unchanged.

Our goal has never been to maximise the amount we earn from each customer.

Our goal is to maximise the value we create for every customer.

We believe software should be licensed fairly, transparently and sustainably. Every licence contributes towards the continued development, security and improvement of the platform, but no customer should pay more simply because NanoReash has become successful.

Success, in our view, is measured differently.

  • Success is when a school can afford the same technology as a multinational corporation.
  • Success is when a small business has access to enterprise-grade software without enterprise-level pricing.
  • Success is when every improvement benefits every NanoReash user.

NanoReash proudly incorporates many outstanding open-source technologies where they strengthen the platform. Rather than recreating solutions that already exist, we focus our development on the components that make NanoReash unique.

Our philosophy is simple:

Open source where openness creates value.
Unified where unity creates strength.

This approach allows NanoReash to remain concise, efficient and highly maintainable while benefiting from continual innovation throughout the wider software community.

The NanoReash core, however, follows a different philosophy.

It is intentionally maintained as a single trusted origin.

While we deeply respect open-source communities, unrestricted forking of the NanoReash core would inevitably divide development effort, fragment compatibility and create competing versions of what is intended to be one continuously evolving Web Operating System.

Instead, we invite developers who genuinely believe in the project and wish to contribute towards one shared vision.

Ideas are welcomed.

Constructive criticism is welcomed.

Extensions, integrations, plugins and contributions are welcomed.

What we seek to preserve is the integrity of the NanoReash core so that every improvement benefits every organisation using the platform.

We are not trying to build the largest software community.

We are trying to build one of the world's most trusted Web Operating Systems.

The NanoReash Stewardship Principle

Technology should become more efficient over time.

As software matures, development becomes more efficient, infrastructure becomes less expensive and automation reduces operational costs. We believe those efficiencies should benefit everyone — not only the software vendor.

This principle guides every long-term decision made within NanoReash.

Our objective is not continual price increases.

Our objective is continual value increases.

As NanoReash grows, we aspire to reduce the average cost of ownership whenever it is responsible to do so.

We do not believe software should become more expensive simply because demand increases.

Instead, we believe success creates an opportunity to make enterprise technology accessible to even more organisations around the world.

Licence revenue exists for one purpose:

  • Continued development
  • Security
  • Documentation
  • Research
  • Long-term sustainability

Every licence improves the same platform.

Every improvement benefits every customer.

Every efficiency creates the opportunity to reduce future costs.

Our long-term aspiration is that NanoReash becomes so efficient to develop, maintain and distribute that the average production licence may one day cost only a few dollars per website each year while still providing sufficient funding for continuous innovation.

Whether that figure becomes two dollars, five dollars or another sustainable amount is less important than the principle itself.

As NanoReash becomes more efficient, the benefits of that efficiency should be shared with its users.

We believe the relationship between a software company and its customers should be based upon stewardship rather than extraction.

We are not attempting to build software that generates the highest possible return.

We are attempting to build software that earns the highest possible level of trust.

Trust is built through fair licensing.

Trust is built through transparent pricing.

Trust is built through responsible stewardship.

Trust is built by maintaining one trusted platform that continues to evolve for generations to come.

One Platform.
One Trusted Origin.
Built Together.
